As I spend an evening listening to the sticky tune by Nelly Furtado, Promiscuous Girl, I can not stop thinking of some girls. No words from me.. at this time, maybe in a future posting During a party last week, I saw this girl I was hitting on being played by a friend of mine who knew I was interested on her, later my friend acquaintance came to let me know about all her facial defects and to brag how dumb she was and that I did not have a chance…funny thing, I can see things as if I was in a bubble… maybe I am, but anyways, as I study this pop culture of ours (listening carefully to the lyrics of Furtado’s latest hit used to promote cell phones) maybe to do a painting and maybe to understand it as well, and I see a band I have venerated come back doing pop, Sonic Youth Rather Ripped, I wonder, are Furtado’s lyrics factually based? probably… in a music video? right?!, Is this new release by Sonic Youth the end of my times as a punk lover?

Chorus-
Promiscuous girl
Wherever you are
I’m all alone
And it’s you that I want

N: Promiscuous boy
You already know
That I’m all yours
What you waiting for?
